From the memory of the Syrian revolution: 23/12/2011

On this day in 2012: Demonstrations took place under the banner of “The Protocol of Death Friday” in Al-Hasakah, including the Ghuwayran neighborhood in the city of Al-Hasakah, as well as in the cities and towns of Qamishli, Al-Darbasiyah, and Ras al-Ayn (Serê Kaniyê). The protesters chanted slogans calling for the fall of the regime, including “The Syrian Army is a traitor” and “Come on, leave, you coward.” They raised revolutionary flags, the Kurdish flag, and banners, one of which read: “The Protocol of People’s Demands: Safe Corridors, a Buffer Zone, a No-Fly Zone, and the Fall of the Regime.”
