On this day in 2011: Idlib Governorate witnessed demonstrations in the city of Idlib, as well as in the towns of Taftanaz, Sarmin, Zardana, Binnish, Ariha, and Jabal Al-Zawiya. Protesters demanded the establishment of a safe zone to protect civilians in Syria.
