On this day in 2013: The National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces launched the campaign “Syrians… Connection and Giving,” involving Syrian communities. The campaign included a range of volunteer activities on the occasion of International Volunteer Day, such as visiting childcare centers and facilities for people with special needs, assisting teams working there, and participating with municipalities in environmental beautification efforts.
