  1. It must be based on fundamental human rights principles, based on citizenship and popular sovereignty, and guarantee citizens their political, economic, social and cultural rights, without discrimination or preference.
  2. Be respected by all authorities.
  3. The constitution is amendable by constitutional means, so that it is in line with developments and developments in society, as a result of the popular will, not the whim of the authority.
  4. It is compatible with the conditions of the current era, benefiting from the experiences of advanced countries, embracing the Syrian people in their language, unity and components, and fitting into the new phase of Syria.
  5. It prevents any form of military coups.
  6. It protects minorities, political opposition, women, and the oppressed.
  7. He shall not be sectarian, sectarian, a champion of a sect, or hostile to religions and sects.
