From the memory of the Syrian revolution: 12/09/2011

On this day in 2011: The UN Human Rights Council appointed an international commission of inquiry to investigate human rights violations in Syria. The commission included three experts: Sérgio Pinheiro (Chair), Yakin Ertürk, and Karen AbuZayd. It is expected to submit its report to the UN Secretary-General by the end of November.
