On this day in 2015, Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi met with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem in Muscat. This was al-Moallem’s first visit to Oman in four years. Both parties affirmed that “the time has come to join efforts to end the crisis in Syria.”
