The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) has completed a new training titled “Arabic Rhetoric” in July 2024.
☆ The training targeted a number of teachers and university students, with a total of 31 male and female trainees, comprising 17 training hours over 5 days.
☆ The purpose and aim of the training: Building the capacities of Syrian youth in the field of Arabic rhetoric.
☆ Type of training: Physical, where the trainees came to the headquarters of the Syrian Future Movement (SFM) in the city of Azaz, north of Aleppo, and learned the following skills:
Science of Eloquence: Simile
Science of Eloquence: Metaphor
Science of Eloquence: Metonymy
Science of Badi’: Antithesis, Contraposition, Paronomasia, Assonance
Science of Meanings: Declarative and Inquisitive Styles
☆ The training developed to enable the trainees to provide live examples of the various forms of Badi’ and to extract rhetorical arts from poetic verses.
The training concluded on the fifth day and achieved its goals by conducting a survey for the trainees to evaluate the training:

The results were positive, and they expressed that the evaluation method was highly professional, as each trainee wrote their evaluation on a form that included the positives and negatives of the training and the challenges it faced.
