We condemn the Syrian regime’s use of chemical weapons in Adra yesterday and call on the international community to end the charade of merely hinting at toppling the regime when it uses internationally banned weapons! The acts of this play are now clear to all. We warn that the danger of using such weapons is not short-lived but will impact generations to come, manifesting in future Syrian society through congenital deformities that will affect coming generations. They will face the burden of rebuilding from destruction and dealing with the damage these weapons have inflicted on Syria’s genetic legacy.

We believe that the international community has abandoned the Syrian people, who now face a fate of imposed genocide in full view of the world. Whatever is not claimed by artillery, rockets, and barrels of death dropped from warplanes, the chemical weapon will surely complete.
