The Syrian Future Movement extends its sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Culture of the Syrian Arab Republic for its generous initiative in organizing a ceremony to honor the late Professor Dr. Mazen Al-Mubarak, a renowned scholar, writer, and linguist. The ceremony was held on Monday, August 3, 2026, at the Syrian National Library, in the presence of the Minister of Culture, Mr. Muhammad Saleh Yassin, the family of the deceased, and a distinguished group of scientific, cultural, and academic figures.
The Syrian Future Movement participated in this event, on behalf of its president, Dr. Zaher Badran. The Movement was represented by Mr. Haidar Zaki Al-Hammadi, Director of the Popular Base Office, accompanied by Mr. Muhammad Karimu. This participation underscores our belief that honoring intellectuals and scholars is an integral part of nation-building, and that honoring scientific and cultural icons is an honor to Syrian national identity itself.
During the event, the Syrian Future Movement delegation conveyed the condolences and heartfelt sympathies of the Movement’s members and staff to Dr. Ziad Mazen Al-Mubarak, the son of the deceased. They expressed their pride in the scholarly and literary legacy left by the late professor and the profound intellectual value he represented in serving the Arabic language and Syrian culture.
