The Syrian Future Movement extends its sincerest congratulations to the Republic of Tunisia, its leadership and people, on the occasion of Republic Day, July 25th. This national occasion commemorates the proclamation of the Tunisian Republic in 1957, following the abolition of the monarchy, marking a new era in the building of a modern nation-state.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that national holidays are not merely occasions for celebration, but rather opportunities to renew commitment to the values of the state, consolidate the rule of law, safeguard institutions, and strengthen national participation, thereby preserving human dignity, preserving national unity, and establishing lasting stability.
The Movement affirms that the historical relations between the Syrian and Tunisian peoples, and the civilizational, cultural, and Arab ties that bind them, form a solid foundation for enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise in the areas of institution-building, strengthening public life, and serving the interests of both brotherly nations.
The Syrian Future Movement also expresses its wishes for the Republic of Tunisia to enjoy continued security, stability and prosperity, and for the Tunisian people to achieve all their aspirations for progress and development, under a strong state with its institutions, inclusive of all its citizens, and capable of facing challenges and fulfilling the aspirations of its citizens.
