In light of the rapid developments in northern Syria, and with the Syrian army’s advance towards recapturing cities and regions dear to the nation’s territory, the Syrian Future Movement affirms its full support for every sincere national effort aimed at restoring Syrian state sovereignty over all its lands and restoring the unity of the land torn apart by years of war, foreign interventions, and the proliferation of armed groups.
The unity of Syrian territory is not a temporary political gain, but rather the very essence of the idea of the state for which Syrians have struggled since the dawn of independence. No future national project can be built on the reality of partition, spheres of influence, or parallel armies.
Therefore, the return of Raqqa, Tabqa, and all other cities in the east and north to the national fold represents a pivotal step on the path to rebuilding a unified Syrian state.
At the same time, the Syrian Future Movement emphasizes that the true value of victory is only complete with the protection of the Syrian people and the preservation of their dignity. Therefore, we call for an end to the bloodshed, the avoidance of any acts of revenge, and the guarantee of humane treatment for prisoners and detainees, ensuring their presentation before fair and transparent national courts that adhere to legal and human rights standards. This will solidify the rule of law and prevent new cycles of vengeance.
We extend a sincere message of reassurance to our people in Raqqa, Tabqa, and all the cities of the north and east, with all their national and religious components—Arabs, Kurds, Syriacs, Assyrians, and Turkmen—and especially to our Christian brothers and sisters, that the Syria of the future for which we strive is a state of equal citizenship, a state of rights and freedoms, a state that protects and preserves diversity, not one that threatens it or exploits it politically.
The coming phase demands courageous decision-making, wise governance, and responsible engagement with the new reality. This will preserve the unity of the country, rebuild trust between the state and society, and pave the way for a comprehensive national reconciliation based on justice, dignity, and the rule of law.
