The Syrian Future Movement announces its full support for the call issued by the Khan Arnabeh Town Council on December 19, 2025, entitled “A Call for a Solidarity Stand with Quneitra in the City of Peace Against the Occupation’s Incursion.” This call urges a popular solidarity stand with the people of Quneitra, to begin after Friday prayers in front of the Al-Hassan Mosque and proceed to the City of Peace roundabout, with the participation of a popular delegation from various Syrian governorates.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that this solidarity stand comes in the context of ongoing Israeli violations in the Quneitra Governorate, including suspicious excavations at Tell al-Ahmar al-Sharqi, land confiscation and bulldozing operations, near-daily incursions, and arbitrary arrests. These actions raise legitimate concerns about an escalation aimed at forced displacement and demographic change in the region.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that, during this sensitive transitional phase in the new Syria, defending national sovereignty over all Syrian territory, including the occupied Golan Heights and border areas, is a sacred national duty that transcends political and regional differences. The popular solidarity with the people of Quneitra reflects the genuine national spirit born from the Syrian revolution and affirms the unity of the Syrian people in confronting any external threat to their dignity and land.
The Syrian Future Movement calls upon all Syrians, young and old, men and women, from all governorates, to participate widely in this peaceful demonstration, to send a powerful message that the new Syria, with its popular support, is committed to protecting its borders and its people, and to building a pluralistic, democratic, and civil state that respects sovereignty and human dignity, and rejects all forms of occupation and violations.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that Syria’s prosperous future begins with our solidarity today, in defense of every inch of our land, and towards a better tomorrow that unites us under the banner of a free and unified homeland.
