International Day of Human Solidarity

On the International Day of Human Solidarity, established by the United Nations General Assembly as a symbol of human unity and cooperation in confronting global challenges, the Syrian Future Movement reaffirms its commitment to the values of solidarity as a moral and civilizational foundation for building the future of a new Syria.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that human solidarity, celebrated annually on December 20, represents a universal call to strengthen ties between peoples, combat poverty, achieve sustainable development, and support the vulnerable and those affected by disasters and conflicts.

In Syria today, as we undergo a critical transitional phase after years of suffering and war, these values emerge as an urgent national necessity for rebuilding our social and political fabric on the foundations of justice, equality, and human dignity.

The Syrian Future Movement, a national, civil political entity born from the Syrian revolution, affirms that consolidating the values of solidarity in the new Syria requires concerted efforts from all segments of the Syrian people—youth, women, and men, from diverse cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds—to achieve genuine national reconciliation, comprehensive reconstruction, and the strengthening of national unity in the face of current transitional challenges, such as unifying institutions, protecting rights, supporting returnees, and addressing the economic and social repercussions of years of conflict.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that Syrian youth, with their creative energy and modern spirit, are the true force for change toward a prosperous future Syria, one that relies on innovation, technology, and constructive dialogue to transform solidarity from a slogan into a daily practice that builds a pluralistic, democratic, and civil state that respects human rights and guarantees equality for all.

The Syrian Future Movement calls upon all Syrians, both inside and outside the country, and the international community, to strengthen practical solidarity with our people during this critical phase by supporting national efforts for a peaceful transition and sustainable development, so that together we may build a free, unified, and independent Syria that serves as a model of coexistence and prosperity.
