Statement from the Scientific Office/Capacity Building and Self-Development Department of the Syrian Future Movement at the central ceremony commemorating the first anniversary of the victory of the Syrian Revolution and the fall of the Assad regime
Your Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen,
Dear colleagues, members and staff of the Syrian Future Movement,
Today, at this national celebration of victory and liberation,
the anniversary of the fall of the tyrannical regime and the return of Syria to its people,
we affirm that this day is not merely a celebratory occasion! Rather, it is a foundational milestone in the path of building the new Syrian state.
Our role in the Capacity Building and Self-Development Department of the Scientific Office of the Syrian Future Movement is pivotal at this stage.
The project of national revival cannot be achieved without building the individual, empowering them, refining their capabilities, and enhancing their competence in the fields of science, public service, administration, economics, and knowledge.
Over the past period, the department has worked on developing a clear vision in the field of individual capacity building and improving leadership skills. It has conducted dozens of training sessions on initiative management and developing teamwork skills, thus making our staff more prepared to assume their responsibilities in the post-liberation phase.
This work is not a luxury, but a national necessity. As you know, nations are not built on slogans alone, but on qualified individuals who truly and sincerely know how to create change and then how to maintain it.
Based on this understanding, the Capacity Building and Self-Development Department continues to develop its training programs and launch practical initiatives aimed at empowering new individuals to bolster the movement, preparing leaders capable of contributing to the rebuilding of state institutions, and directing Syrian energies towards development and stability.
Our celebration of victory today places a double responsibility upon us:
The responsibility to live up to this victory, to transform the opportunity into a project, the project into an achievement, and the achievement into a tangible reality that Syrian citizens experience in their daily lives.
Therefore, the Capacity Building and Self-Development Department will work on designing advanced training programs that meet the requirements of the transitional phase.
In addition, it will foster a spirit of initiative and creativity among our ambitious Syrian youth.
And develop their skills in management, leadership, dealing with institutions, and strategic planning.
As our contribution to preparing national leaders capable of shouldering the responsibilities of institutional and human reconstruction in the new Syria, God willing, and through your sincere support and the guidance of the esteemed leadership of the movement.
Brothers and sisters, members and cadres of the Syrian Future Movement,
We are committed to being an active part of building the modern state that befits the sacrifices of our people and the hopes of our future generations.
For us, victory is a responsibility and a trust, and the future belongs to those who prepare for it and work for it. “And in that let the competitors compete.”
