World Social Responsibility Day

On this day, September 25th, the world celebrates World Social Responsibility Day, an international event aimed at promoting a culture of ethical and humanitarian commitment to communities and consolidating the values of sustainable development, social justice, and solidarity among individuals and institutions.

As we, the Syrian Future Movement, commemorate this occasion, we affirm that social responsibility is not an intellectual luxury or a media slogan, but rather a national and moral necessity in light of the profound humanitarian, social, and economic challenges facing Syria. Establishing a culture of social responsibility in Syria is the cornerstone for rebuilding the national fabric, strengthening trust between citizens and institutions, and activating the role of individuals in creating positive change.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that social responsibility begins with recognizing human rights, progresses through empowering marginalized groups, and is translated into practical initiatives that include education, health, the environment, and support for the local economy, leading to the building of a cohesive, just, and open society based on the values of cooperation and solidarity.

On this day, the Syrian Future Movement calls on all national forces, civil institutions, and the private sector to adopt clear policies in the field of social responsibility and launch development programs that address people’s needs and contribute to building a better future for Syria based on justice, participation, and transparency.

The Syrian Future Movement also affirms that social responsibility is not the exclusive domain of one party over another. Rather, it is a collective duty and a shared responsibility that requires concerted efforts, overcoming differences, and championing the values of humanity, dignity, and freedom.

On this day, we, in the Syrian Future Movement, renew our commitment to being a voice for society, a catalyst for change, and a partner in building a homeland that all Syrians deserve.
