From the memory of the Syrian revolution: 28/12/2011

On this day in 2011: Demonstrations took place in Al-Hasakah, including the neighborhoods of Ghweiran and Al-Mufti, as well as the cities of Qamishli, Amuda, and Ras Al-Ain. Protesters raised the flags of the revolution and the Kurdish flag, chanting for the fall of the regime and freedom for Syria, with slogans like “Azadi” and “Freedom forever, whether you like it or not, Assad.” They also carried banners, one of which read, “Free us from this madman.”
