The Syrian Future Movement …
Based on the principles of coexistence that believers—both Muslims and Christians of various denominations—once lived by on the land of Syria, and reaffirming the necessity of preserving the bonds of goodwill brought by all heavenly religions and international laws, and in a joint effort by the honorable people of both faiths (Islamic and Christian) to emerge from the tunnel of sectarian strife and religious war that the regime of killing, destruction, and displacement is attempting to impose on all those who opposed and disagreed with it, regardless of their religious or sectarian affiliation, and in recognition of the kindness of Christian Syrians who opened their homes to their Muslim brothers among the displaced across the homeland, or who had an opposing voice that was heard, or a noble stance toward our revolution, we announce:
The Syrian Future Movement seizes the opportunity of the glorious Christmas holidays to renew the bonds of affection, love, brotherhood, and friendship. We declare loudly, with heads held high and with absolute confidence, that we are “Brothers,” our mother is one “Syria,” our goal is one “Freedom,” and our ultimate aim is one “The downfall of the tyrannical regime.”
