From the memory of the Syrian revolution: 17/09/2013

On this day in 2013: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon delivered the opening address for the 68th session of the UN General Assembly, providing a summary of the UN investigation team’s report on the use of chemical weapons in Damascus’ Ghouta on August 21, 2013. He reiterated the condemnation of the attack and welcomed the recent U.S.-Russian agreement on a framework for implementing the initiative to transfer and destroy Syria’s chemical weapons.
