  • The Media Office of the Syrian Future Movement (SFM) shared a memory from the Syrian Revolution on 08/09/2011: On this day in 2011, the Kurdish Future Movement (SFM) announced that prominent Syrian Kurdish opposition figure Mashaal Tammo survived an assassination attempt. According to a statement from the Movement’s Public Relations Office, Tammo was in the Corniche neighborhood of Qamishli when a group of regime loyalists attempted to assassinate him. Individuals on a motorcycle blocked his car, while another group in a civilian vehicle carried out the attack.

Domestic News:
