Launch of the national volunteer platform “Builders – Syrian Energies Towards a Sustainable Impact”

The Syrian Future Movement affirms its unwavering commitment to supporting volunteer work and community participation as fundamental elements in building a cohesive, civil Syrian state that relies on the energies and expertise of its citizens to serve national development and sustainable reconstruction.

The Syrian Future Movement welcomes the launch, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, by the Ministry of Administrative Development, of the national volunteer platform “Builders – Syrian Energies Towards a Sustainable Impact,” during an event held at the National Library in Damascus. The event was attended by the Minister of Administrative Development, Mohammad Hassan Al-Skaf, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Hind Qabawat, the Minister of Higher Education, and a number of other officials.

The Syrian Future Movement views this innovative digital platform as a qualitative step towards organizing and unifying volunteer efforts within a comprehensive national framework. It connects individuals wishing to volunteer – especially Syrian youth and skilled professionals – with government agencies and official institutions that provide quality volunteer opportunities. This enhances the positive impact of volunteer work, strengthens the partnership between the state and society, and transforms the spirit of volunteerism demonstrated by Syrians in the most difficult circumstances into an organized institutional framework that contributes to development and public service.

The Syrian Future Movement commends the statements of Minister of Administrative Development, Mohammad Hassan al-Skaf, who affirmed that the platform will provide an organized framework connecting the energies and expertise of Syrians with genuine opportunities to contribute to reconstruction and development. He expressed that the spirit of volunteerism that emerged during the most difficult circumstances reflects the strength and cohesion of Syrian society, and that the platform will be a space where dedication, experience, and enthusiasm converge to serve the community and participate in the reconstruction process.

The Syrian Future Movement also appreciates the statements of Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Hind Qabawat, who highlighted the platform’s importance in strengthening humanitarian and social work, linking national energies with volunteer opportunities within public institutions, and opening the door for youth and community initiatives to support the state’s efforts in development and public service.

The Syrian Future Movement links this initiative to the positive transformations following the fall of the former regime in December 2014, where volunteer work and community participation have become essential tools for rebuilding trust between the state and its citizens and strengthening social cohesion. The Syrian Future Movement emphasizes the need to expand the platform to include volunteer opportunities in various sectors (education, health, environment, and reconstruction), ensuring easy and free access for all Syrians inside and outside the country, while providing training and follow-up mechanisms to guarantee the sustainability of the impact and maximize the utilization of youth potential.

The Syrian Future Movement calls on all national forces, youth initiatives, and community organizations to utilize this platform as a tool for unifying efforts and reaffirms its commitment to supporting all initiatives that translate the popular will into organized action contributing to building the future of Syria.
