The Syrian Future Movement affirms that this day, launched in 1926, holds profound historical significance, coinciding with the birth anniversary of the founders of the Scout Movement: Lord Robert Baden-Powell and Lady Olive Baden-Powell. Over time, it has evolved into a global occasion to promote international friendship and reflect on shared concerns.
The Syrian Future Movement views this year’s official theme, “Our Friendship,” as an expression of a fundamental value in building societies. It emphasizes the importance of healthy human connections, both locally and globally, and their role in fostering social cohesion and personal and collective growth.
