The Syrian Future Movement is positively following the launch of the “Suwayda is from Us and Among Us” campaign, which aims to improve the service situation in Suwayda Governorate and strengthen the spirit of national solidarity among Syrians across the governorates. This comes at a critical moment that requires the highest levels of wisdom and responsibility.
We, in the Syrian Future Movement, affirm our full support for the campaign’s humanitarian and service objectives. We also welcome this initiative, which seeks to restore schools, Sunni, Druze, and Christian places of worship, homes, and infrastructure. We consider it an important step toward alleviating the suffering of our people in Suwayda, who have suffered from marginalization and security tensions in recent months.
The Syrian Future Movement views this campaign as an opportunity to build bridges of trust between state institutions and local authorities in Suwayda, ensuring respect for the popular will and reopening channels of communication based on partnership, not subordination, and on serving the citizen, not political competition.
We, in the Syrian Future Movement, emphasize that any national effort must take into account Suwayda’s unique characteristics, history, and stances, and must be managed in coordination with the local civil, religious, and social actors to ensure the campaign’s success and sustainability.
The Syrian Future Movement rejects turning the campaign into an arena of conflict between supporters and opponents. We believe that serving the people must be above all political considerations, and that convergence on service and humanitarian projects is the true gateway to any future national reconciliation. Accordingly, we call on all Syrians, both inside and outside the country, to contribute to this campaign, affirming our shared destiny and embracing the values of solidarity and mutual support that have always distinguished our people.
Finally, the Syrian Future Movement views the “Suwayda is from us and among us” campaign as an opportunity to build a new model of national cooperation based on mutual respect and partnership in serving the people, far removed from exclusion or marginalization.
