Launch of the Syrian-French Investment Forum

In light of the political transformations taking place in Syria, and after years of international isolation and economic collapse, the Syrian Future Movement followed with great interest the launch of the Syrian-French Investment Forum, which was held on October 1, 2025, at the Ebla Al-Sham Hotel in the Damascus countryside. A high-level French economic and diplomatic delegation participated, along with representatives from Syrian ministries and institutions.

The Syrian Future Movement views this forum as a step toward rebuilding bridges of international cooperation and represents a positive indicator of the beginning of a genuine economic openness, reflecting the international community’s desire to support the post-conflict phase and contribute to the reconstruction of Syria on the basis of transparency, stability, and respect for the will of the Syrian people.

The Syrian Future Movement emphasizes that any successful investment process can only be built on a clear political foundation that guarantees the rule of law, equal opportunities, accountability for corruption, and the promotion of public freedoms. The movement also emphasizes the need for these initiatives to be part of a comprehensive national vision that prioritizes the interests of Syrian citizens at home and abroad and opens the way for genuine participation by the Syrian private sector, expatriates, and national competencies.

The Syrian Future Movement welcomes any international effort aimed at supporting the Syrian economy and affirms its readiness to cooperate with all relevant parties to ensure that these initiatives are part of a comprehensive national project, not subject to quotas or exclusion, but rather contribute to building a new, free, developmental, and prosperous Syria.
