Condolences from the sisterly State of Qatar following the Sharm El-Sheikh incident

The Syrian Future Movement extends its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the sisterly State of Qatar, its leadership, government, and people, following the tragic incident that occurred on the evening of Saturday, October 11, 2025, in Sharm el-Sheikh, Arab Republic of Egypt, which resulted in the deaths of three employees of the Qatari Emiri Diwan and the injury of two others while performing their official duties.

This great tragedy affects not only the State of Qatar, but also the conscience of all who believe in the message of diplomacy and the importance of the responsible Arab role in promoting regional stability. Qatar has been, and continues to be, a generous supporter of afflicted peoples and a rational voice striving to extinguish the political and humanitarian fires in the region, starting with its steadfast support for the Palestinian cause, continuing with its noble stances towards the Syrian people, and extending to its efforts to bring the views of Arab parties closer together.

As we, in the Syrian Future Movement, express our full solidarity with the State of Qatar in these difficult circumstances, we affirm our support for it, in appreciation of its pioneering role in supporting peoples, its continued support for just causes, and its tireless efforts to build bridges of dialogue and peace.
We ask God to have mercy on the victims, to inspire their families with patience and solace, to protect Qatar and its people from all harm, and to grant our region security and stability.
