Visit to Daraa Governorate

A delegation from the Syrian Future Movement, headed by Dr. Zaher Badrani, made an official visit to Daraa Governorate, where they met with a number of the governorate’s residents and revolutionary figures.
The visit included a field tour of several symbolic sites, most notably the Great Omari Mosque, where the delegation learned about the history of these landmarks and their pivotal role in the launch of the popular revolutionary movement.

The delegation also witnessed the extent of the destruction left behind by the former regime in the governorate, a scene that reflects the depth of the suffering endured by the people as a result of years of repression and abuse.

Dr. Badrani delivered a speech in which he expressed the movement’s pride in this visit, emphasizing that Daraa’s national and revolutionary symbolism would not have been possible without the enormous sacrifices made by the Syrian people in pursuit of freedom and the overthrow of tyranny.
