The Future Movement declares its full support for the civil and development campaigns launched from the heart of Syrian society, which have proven that the people of this country are capable of building and are capable of resilience. Over the past few months, we have witnessed the emergence of a series of inspiring initiatives, most notably:
- The Loyalty to Idlib Campaign: This campaign raised more than $200 million in a historic display of popular solidarity to rebuild schools, health centers, and infrastructure, and prepare the ground for the return of one million displaced persons to their homes.
- Our Countryside Deserves It: This campaign restored the prestige of rural Damascus through development projects that target people before their place.
- Deir ez-Zor: This campaign re-emphasized Deir ez-Zor as a vital center deserving of revival after years of marginalization.
- Abshari Hawran, Wednesday Homs, and other campaigns embodied the spirit of national solidarity and redefined civil society work as a lever for social justice and sustainable development.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that these campaigns are not merely a humanitarian response, but rather a political and moral expression of a popular will that transcends geography and affiliations, reshaping the relationship between citizens and the state on new foundations: dignity, participation, and justice.
We in the Syrian Future Movement see these initiatives as:
- The nucleus of a new legitimacy stemming from achievement, not rhetoric.
- The beginning of an effective civil society that regenerates the public sphere from the bottom up.
- An opportunity to rebuild national identity on the foundations of local belonging and social solidarity, free from polarization and division.
The Syrian Future Movement calls on all national forces, intellectual elites, and local actors to support these initiatives and develop them as part of a comprehensive national project that places the Syrian people at the heart of the equation and restores dignity to areas that have been victims of conflict and neglect.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that Syria is not built solely by political decisions, but also by the hands that restore schools, the hearts that plant hope, and the minds that believe that the future begins now.
