Call from the Central Authority for Control and Inspection to Combat Corruption

In light of the statements issued on August 25, 2025, by the head of the Central Commission for Control and Inspection, calling on Syrians to actively participate in the fight against corruption, the Syrian Future Movement believes this call represents an opportunity to redefine the concept of oversight, transforming it from a traditional tool to a modern digital system that draws on the experiences of countries that have successfully built transparent and fair institutions.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that combating corruption cannot be achieved through slogans, but also through smart systems.

Therefore, we propose a comprehensive vision based on the experiences of advanced countries, based on:

  • Establishing a national digital platform for complaints and monitoring, enabling confidential reporting and ensuring the protection of whistleblowers.
  • Linking state institutions to a transparent electronic oversight system that displays the movement of public funds and enables tracking of decisions.
  • Using artificial intelligence to analyze patterns of corruption and identify gaps in government performance.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for the establishment of an independent national body comprising judges, experts, and civil society representatives, operating according to international integrity standards and reporting directly to the people, not the executive authority.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that Syrian citizens must be part of the solution through:

  • Digital training programs on their rights and oversight mechanisms.
  • Involving youth in developing technical tools to combat corruption.
  • Opening the door to community innovation to design local digital solutions.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that, at this critical juncture, it is not enough to fight corruption; we must rebuild trust between citizens and the state through modern, transparent, and responsive tools.

Justice is not measured by the number of open cases, but rather by the speed of access, clarity, and impartiality of the cases, and the resolution of their problems and injustices.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that the call of the Central Committee must be the beginning of a radical transformation in the structure of the state, not just a temporary campaign. It calls on all national forces to adopt this digital vision and engage in building a new Syria, where there is no place for corruption or eroding bureaucracy.
