To stop the bloodshed, consolidate the state, and make the South the beginning of the solution

The Syrian Future Movement believes that what is happening in southern Syria cannot be separated from the accumulation of marginalization and security isolation, and requires a responsible national approach that places the lives of Syrians above narrow considerations.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for an immediate cessation of clashes in Sweida and the launch of a de-escalation process with joint guarantees from the state and local community, ensuring the safety of civilians and restoring the prestige of institutions without excluding anyone.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that the Syrian state must be the reference point for all. Today, it needs to redefine its role based on partnership and justice, not just being present during crises but a permanent advocate for citizens’ interests.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for the implementation of the agreement stipulating the participation of Sweida residents in the judicial police, as a first step toward rebuilding trust. This must be accompanied by administrative and security reform that does not replicate the methods of the past.

The Syrian Future Movement stresses the need to formulate a new social contract, beginning in the south and extending to the entire country, that guarantees rights and political representation, and puts an end to the approach of exclusion, discrimination, and the security exploitation of citizens.

The Syrian Future Movement rejects turning southern Syria into a conflict zone to settle regional or international scores. It condemns any foreign intervention that seeks to mobilize local groups outside the national context or to exploit the media to incite strife.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that Syrian blood cannot be protected by slogans or partial force, but rather by strong and transparent institutions. It believes that the path to a nation begins when we recognize that understanding does not weaken the state, but rather strengthens it.

The Syrian Future Movement declares its commitment to a single, unified, and just Syria, built from within by the will of its people. It places itself at the service of any effort at deep societal dialogue that leads to genuine reform, not merely temporary calm.

The Syrian Future Movement emphasizes the danger of undermining the state’s prestige and the necessity of making it the core of all solutions.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for holding all extremists, Druze and others, accountable for mutual sectarian violations.

The Syrian Future Movement demands that all of southern Syria surrender undisciplined elements and that the violations documented in videos filmed by extremists themselves represent only those responsible.
