Syrian Successes (12): Habib Iyad Arsan


Vice President of the International Festival for Arab Excellence and Creativity
A ten-year-old icon of scientific creativity

In its weekly series of tributes to Syrian figures who have made a difference in the path of creativity and excellence, the Syrian Future Movement is pleased to highlight the achievements of the brilliant Syrian child, Habib Iyad Arsan (born 2014), who has transcended age and established his name in the register of Arab inventors and innovators.

Stations of Excellence:

  • He is the youngest Syrian and Arab child to obtain the International Computer Driving License (ICDL) at the age of seven.
  • He won first place at the International Scientific Conference on Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development and was honored as Vice President of the International Festival for Arab Excellence and Creativity.
  • He is an advisory member of the “Creators for the Homeland” Foundation and a member of the National Team for Astronomy and Space Sciences.

Impressive scientific achievements:

  • He has presented more than 55 inventions in the fields of artificial intelligence, energy, medicine, and the environment.
  • Among his most notable innovations are:
  1. A Syrian energy satellite for wireless electricity transmission via laser.
  2. A safe Syrian nuclear reactor.
  3. A smart medical program approved by the Doctors Syndicate and the Ministries of Communications and Culture.
  4. An Arab Reading Challenge system that includes a smart library, summarization tools, and digital management of reading passports.

Passionate and knowledgeable personality:

  • He has read more than 620 books on various sciences.
  • He has memorized pre-Islamic Mu’allaqat and parts of the Holy Quran.
  • He has been honored by academic institutions in Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt and has participated in several international academic conferences.

We, in the Syrian Future Movement, believe that Syria’s future is not built solely on politics, but on brilliant minds, creative hands, and role models who sow hope in the midst of tragedy.
