Podcast Syrian Future Movement (54): Socialism from a Current Perspective

  1. We believe in the importance of a free market protected by the state, which prevents the accumulation of wealth by one class.
  2. The lack of mechanisms for the people to organize their economy pushes a few to control, direct, and monopolize it, so that socialism becomes a coercive and authoritarian alternative to capitalism.
  3. It is an alternative to socialism in which individual property is preserved and individuals share in the protection of their gains, while ensuring the survival of other classes in society.
  4. The need to benefit from the experience and reality of developed countries, and we see the experiences of Western capitalist economic systems, American in particular and European in general, as a more successful experience than those of socialist countries, and to give Syrian specificity its due in order to create an authentic and realistic Syrian economic system.
