The Syrian Future Movement welcomes the outcomes of the final statement of the Meeting of Syria’s Neighboring Countries in the Jordanian capital on the evening of Sunday, 09/03/2025.

The Syrian Future Movement considers the stance of neighboring countries (Turkey, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan) in support of Syria a historically positive step that opens a new chapter in healthy relations between Syria and its neighbors.

The Syrian Future Movement emphasizes its rejection of practices aimed at destabilizing Syria and calls for supporting the neighboring countries’ initiative to assist in lifting sanctions on Syria.

The Syrian Future Movement views this statement as a regional declaration rejecting all foreign interventions against Syria’s unity, territorial integrity, and social fabric.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that the message from the assembled countries is of great significance to Syrian forces still hesitant to engage in the state-building process in Syria.

The Syrian Future Movement welcomes the continuation of efforts by neighboring countries and their decision to meet next month in Turkey to build on the deliberations of the Jordan meeting and take the necessary decisions accordingly.

The Syrian Future Movement calls on the authorities in Damascus to adhere to a policy of establishing good relations with all regional and international countries to enhance the success of the stabilization process, build state institutions, and prevent any external interference aimed at destabilizing Syria.

The Syrian Future Movement urges European countries to follow the example of Syria’s neighbors and hold an effective meeting to persuade the Trump administration to lift sanctions on Syria.
