On this day in 2012: The governorate of Latakia witnessed demonstrations in the old industrial area and the neighborhoods of Sheikh Daher and Saliba near the Arch of Triumph, as well as in the southern Ramel (Palestinian) area of Latakia city, and in the villages of Marj Khokha and Kafr Dalba in the Salma region.
