From the memory of the Syrian revolution: 01/02/2013

On this day in 2013: Three protests, documented with video footage, took place in Hasakah Governorate on the “Friday of the International Community as Assad’s Partner in His Massacres,” according to the Syrian Independent Center for Protest Documentation. Additionally, a protest was held in the Ghweiran neighborhood of Hasakah city for the funeral of Abdul-Samad Alawi and Hafez Eid Al-Abed, two Free Syrian Army fighters who were killed in clashes against the “People’s Protection Units” in Ras al-Ain.
