The Syrian Future Movement considers this security achievement as evidence of the strength of the new Syrian authority and its ability to protect Syrians from criminals among the pillars of the defunct Assad regime and its associates.
The Syrian Future Movement emphasizes the importance of what the Director of Public Security affirmed, that the mechanism for holding war criminals accountable in Syria will take place through specialized courts, not through arbitrary means, and that all detainees must undergo legal trials within the framework of justice.
