Establishing a participatory and competent government

The Syrian Future Movement welcomes the statements of Mr. Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, the Syrian Foreign Minister, made yesterday, Friday, 2025/01/03, where he conveyed during his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the vision of the new Syrian administration to establish a government based on the principles of participation and competence, encompassing all Syrian components.

The Syrian Future Movement views these promises positively despite the complexities on the Syrian scene, especially in relation to the southern, western, and northern regions of Syria.

The Syrian Future Movement emphasizes the necessity of ending the state of uncontrolled arms, factionalism, and regionalism within the country through peaceful means based on diplomacy and shared national interests.

The Syrian Future Movement stresses the need for the genuine and robust participation of active national forces to ensure security and civil peace.

The Syrian Future Movement recommends opening the door for licensing political parties and movements, encouraging political forces to contribute to building the upcoming phase.

The Syrian Future Movement commends the emphasis on competence in governing the country, rejecting individual loyalty and control.

The Syrian Future Movement affirms its alignment with the new administration, adhering to these two principles in establishing the upcoming Syrian government.
