On this day in 2013: A demonstration took place in Tal Abyad Street in the city of Raqqa in protest of the Aleppo University massacre. The protesters raised banners that read, “A salute from the schools of Raqqa Governorate to the free people of Aleppo University… The University of Knowledge and Blood.”
