The cancellation of the reward for capturing Al-Jolani, “Ahmed Al-Sharaa”

The Syrian Future Movement welcomes the United States’ decision to cancel the financial reward ($10 million) previously allocated for the capture of the leader of “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham,” Ahmed Al-Sharaa.

The Syrian Future Movement considers this step essential to facilitate the peaceful and smooth transition of power toward a legitimate and inclusive government, following the military liberation of Syria from Bashar al-Assad’s rule.

The Syrian Future Movement supports the significant change in the rhetoric and actions of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, particularly under the leadership of Ahmed Al-Sharaa, and calls for the continued development of its conduct and discourse in ways that serve Syria and its people.

The Syrian Future Movement endorses the complete lifting of sanctions on Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham and supports its healthy and full integration into Syrian society.

The Syrian Future Movement is ready to provide its assistance and expertise through its diverse relationships to help ease tensions, facilitate a peaceful transition, and establish an inclusive government as soon as possible.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for the lifting of all sanctions on Syria, particularly the Caesar Act, citing the absence of justifiable reasons for its continuation and emphasizing the need to support Syria’s security and service stability for the benefit of Syrians, the region, and the international community.
