On this day in 2011: Tripoli, northern Lebanon, witnessed a demonstration in which hundreds of Syrians and Lebanese participated in the “Friday of the March to the Squares of Freedom.” Protesters raised the Syrian revolution flag, and a march was held from Tabbaneh to the municipal stadium, accompanied by a sit-in and tents set up for monetary and blood donations.
