Our professor, the Moroccan philosopher Taha Abdel Rahman, describes the Israeli entity as the absolute evil. In fact, the most accurate idea is that the absolute evil is the functional evil, regardless of what it is, whether Jewish, Shiite, Islamic or Christian; because the danger of functional evil is that it hinders the birth of social rationality and popular and political liberation movements through its role in occupying and hijacking their place within social civilization, so the use of religion and resistance in favor of the opposite political actor culturally and socially, for example, is disabling them and hijacking their social status and civilizational effectiveness! This functional evil is transformed into a tool of the absolute evil and its proxies, through which it uproots social and popular liberation movements seeking to overthrow the absolute evil and its proxy tools and arms! Functional evil can naturally accept, ally or coordinate with absolute evil, but at the same time it can never accept an alliance with the truth and national liberation movements because they compete with it socially and threaten its existence! Therefore, we see that functional evil can ally itself with absolute evil in order to eradicate liberation movements because they affect the legitimacy of its popular and functional existence! This is what Hezbollah and the Shiite religious actor in Iran did during their mercenary work for the regimes, in order to combat the social scramble, the Arab popular movement, and the national liberation movements!
The main danger of functional evil stems from the fact that its existence is based on satisfying the other political actor, not on satisfying its own rationality, reflection, and the human and civilizational scramble of the social segment from which it emerges! That is, the existence of this functional evil is related to the quality of service or civilizational service it provides to the political tyrant or foreign occupier, so we see that the functional evil is absolutely willing to offer the occupier, political tyrant and absolute evil whatever it wants in order to maintain its functional existence! Whether the functional evil provides services based on direct labor, ignorant labor or reformist labor based on implementing common interests between the functional evil and the political actor, this does not change the reality and seriousness of the matter, because negative civilizational consequences on social reality occur regardless of the intention or type of labor!
Therefore, the popular, liberating and civilized approach to functional evil must be at a minimum at the same level as the approach to absolute evil, because this functional evil has already become part of the mechanism of absolute evil. Indeed, functional evil is more dangerous to the Arab and Islamic nation than absolute evil (the Israeli entity), but it is the absolute evil itself! Because this functional evil – Hezbollahas an example – is willing to maintain absolute evil if it is given a choice between it and the liberation movements, popular will, and Arab-Islamic social mobilization, because this is the only way for it to remain active and present within the Arab and Islamic social environment from which it is culturally, politically, and ideologically alien! For functional evil, the means becomes an end in itself! Thus, this functional evil seeks to defend its existence as a body and a functional tool of the absolute evil, turning a blind eye to the characteristics of its own project, which may have held certain principles different from those of the political actor, the foreign occupier, and the absolute evil (the Israeli entity)!
This means that saying that the entity is more dangerous to the Arab and Islamic region than Hezbollah is a false idea, because the relationship between the two entities is a functional, service-oriented relationship that has not even risen to the level of servitude! The Hezbollah at the civilizational, social and political level is a multifunctional tool for several political levels, and the first level is the Iranian actor, followed indirectly by the Israeli actor.
Therefore, the Shiite religious actor, Hezbollah and their tools are more dangerous to the nation and civilization than the absolute evil (the Israeli entity) itself. The functional evil of the absolute evil is more dangerous than the absolute evil itself, because its existence is simply based on the extent to which it satisfies the absolute evil, and therefore the functional evil is the unlimited and most absolute evil! Because it misleads the vision of the Arab and Islamic public opinion and creates attrition and confusion in the compass of the elites and social segments, due to the lack of clarity of the enemy and the complexity of the political and social scene, because, of course, the general public cannot accurately analyze and refute the details and parts of the scene, which leads the social reality to a state of instability and confusion in the civilizational vision and existential organization intellectually, socially and politically! This puts the Arab-Islamic reality, elites and commoners, in front of a state of confusion, ineffectiveness, fragmentation, and civilizational malfunction!
Bottom line: The Shiite religious actor in Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon are a transnational functional evil that has turned into an unlimited evil that begs for its existence through civilizational mercenarism, its eradication of Arab and Islamic national and social liberation movements, contracting with authoritarian regimes that seek to resist the civilizational scramble, and uprooting the popular will that poses a strategic cultural, social and political threat to the existence of the Israeli entity and its agents in the Arab East! The party’s functional behavior in the Arab region must explain to every reasonable person the purpose of maintaining the occupation of this functional evil throughout the past period, simply because it is a professional in dismantling the shah It is the one that paves the social way for this Zionist empowerment that we observe today! This was through the use of this functional party with all the tools of oppression, murder, displacement, terrorism and civilizational disintegration.
In return, and based on the functional synergy between the two parties, the Zionist occupier provided this Shiite religious actor, Hezbollah, and their tools with political and legal cover by turning a blind eye to them at the international level.
Based on the above, there is no doubt that the initial solution today begins with dismantling the mechanism of this employment, alliance and service between functional and absolute evil; because functional evil is a tactical part of absolute evil, and every functional part in the system of absolute evil is the most unlimited, absolute and dangerous evil for Arab, Islamic and human civilization! With this deconstruction between the two evils, the condition of preparing for civilizational presence, liberation and liberation becomes possible, even if the road is long, but every perspective is close!
