On this day in 2012: A demonstration took place in the Al-Jadida neighborhood of Damascus under the slogan “Free Students of Damascus Speak Their Word.” Young people from the Rukn al-Din and Al-Salihiyah neighborhoods participated, in coordination with the “Union of Free Students – Damascus Branch” and the “Union of Damascus School Coordinators.”
