From the memory of the Syrian revolution: 22/10/2014

On this day in 2014: The Kurdish National Council concluded its meetings with the Democratic Society Movement in the city of Duhok in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and the two parties signed the Duhok Agreement, which stipulates the formation of a Kurdish authority tasked with outlining general strategies for the Kurds and embodying a unified Kurdish stance in Rojava and Syria.

Meanwhile, the Kurdistan Parliament approved the sending of forces to the city of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) to support the fighters in repelling the attack by the “ISIS” organization.
