On this day in 2012: The Syrian Reform Coalition was announced in Cairo with the participation of 24 Syrian Islamic parties and movements, most notably the Association of Muslim Scholars, the Muslim Brotherhood, the National Democratic Current, and the Free Syrian Scholars Association.
