On this day in 2011: The formation of the “Supreme Council for the Leadership of the Revolution” was announced to unify the efforts of the Syrian revolutionaries, achieve the goals of the revolution by toppling the regime, restoring freedom and dignity, and establishing a state of citizenship and justice.
