In August 2024, the training targeted 20 university students, both male and female, with a total of 18 training hours spread over 5 days.
☆ The purpose of launching the training was to build the capacities of Syrian youth in the field of English and to acquire new vocabulary and meanings in English.
☆ Type of training: Physical, as the trainees attended at the Syrian Future Movement (SFM) office in the city of A’azaz, northern Aleppo, and learned the following skills:
- What’s in your bag.
- Possessive “s”.
- Personal information.
- Foods.
- What time is it.
☆ The training progressed to enable the trainees to introduce themselves and get to know family members, professions, favorite foods, and drinks.
The training concluded at the end of the fifth day, achieving its goals through a survey of the trainees, evaluating the training (location – scientific material – trainer). The results were positive, and they expressed their gratitude for the professionalism of the evaluation, as each trainee wrote their evaluation on a form that included the positives and negatives of the training and the challenges it faced.
