The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) completed a new training titled “English Language Level 3” in August 2024.
☆ The training targeted a number of teachers and university students, with 20 male and female trainees, at a rate of 20 training hours distributed over 5 days.
☆ The goal of launching the training was to build the capacities of Syrian youth in the field of English language and to acquire new vocabulary and meanings.
☆ Type of training: In-person, where trainees were present at the Syrian Future Movement (SFM) Office in the city of A‘azaz, north of Aleppo, and were introduced to the following skills:
- Reading and comprehension
- Speaking and communication
- Writing and expression
- Common phrases and popular proverbs
☆ The training developed so that the trainee could introduce themselves, learn about family members, professions, favorite foods and drinks, and communicate on a larger and deeper level using new vocabulary.
The training concluded on the fifth day and achieved its goals by conducting a trainee survey to evaluate the training based on:
- Location
- Educational content
- Trainer
The results were positive, with trainees expressing that the evaluation method was highly professional. Each trainee wrote their evaluation on a form that included the positives and negatives of the training and the challenges it addressed.
