Regime forces besieged the town of Salqin in Idlib province and bombarded it with tanks and heavy artillery, resulting in the deaths of three people. They also shelled the villages of Al-Rami, Kafr Sajna, and Al-Raqaya, and fired heavily at homes in the village of Muhambal. Civilians were used as human shields on tanks during the assault on Azmarin. The Free Syrian Army confronted the assault attempts around Salqin and Azmarin, while “Liwa al-Tawhid Brigades” announced the destruction of a regime checkpoint between Kafrtakharim and Salqin.
