The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) has completed a new training titled “The Art of Leadership” in the seventh month of 2024.
☆ The training targeted a number of university students and specialists in counseling, totaling (20) male and female trainees, with an average of (18) training hours distributed over (6) days.
☆ The goal and purpose of the training: To build the capacities of Syrian youth in the field of leadership and encourage them to be role models in community building.
☆ Type of training: In-person, where the trainees gathered at the Syrian Future Movement (SFM) office in A‘azaz, north of Aleppo, and learned the following skills:
- The concept of leadership and the leader
- Effective leadership
- The difference between leadership, presidency, and management
- Traits of an effective leader
- Leadership theories
- Formal and informal leadership
- Leadership models
The training concluded on the sixth day and achieved its objectives by conducting a survey of the trainees to evaluate the training based on the following criteria:
- Trainer
- Scientific material
- Venue
The evaluation was conducted through a form that included the positives and negatives of the training and the challenges it faced.
