President Bashar Assad, the victor with the power of military boots and belt, the president of Syria—the main reason for this towering vertical fissure in the fabric of Syrian society. Yet, I wasn’t surprised at all by the divisions he reached with a mentality of the law of the jungle, which he was raised on for decades and on which he raised his supporters, followers, and herds (his opponents en masse have become bulls), while he is (the lion of the jungle) with the right to rule, command, and classify as he sees fit!
How can a Syrian now think of returning to his homeland and his people when the verdict has been issued!! (The fate of the bulls is to be killed, sooner or later).
