International Women’s Day Statement

On this day each year, we celebrate International Women’s Day, reflecting the ongoing efforts of women to achieve equality and justice around the world.

The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) appreciates the valuable contributions made by women in Syria in every field of life, whether it be in science, business, arts, sports, politics, or healthcare.

The Syrian Future Movement recognizes the challenges that women still face and reaffirms our commitment to working towards a more inclusive and equal Syrian society.

The Syrian Future Movement calls on all Syrians to join us in this commitment, working together to achieve a world that values, respects, and fully empowers women.

On International Women’s Day, we remember the Syrian women in unjust prisons in Syria, calling for their release and working towards it by all possible means, as well as those who suffer from injustice, oppression, and deprivation, having lost their husbands and sons in this unjust war imposed on our Syrian people yearning for freedom.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for celebrating the remarkable achievements of Syrian women and supporting them, remembering the struggles they have endured, and working together towards a future of greater equality and justice.
