A Call from the Syrian Future Movement to the Lebanese Future Movement On the Anniversary of the Martyr President Rafic Hariri

The Syrian Future Movement…
These days mark a painful memory and a grave event for our people in the Lebanese Republic. It brings back the criminal practices adopted and implemented—still ongoing—by the Syrian tutelage regime during its direct presence in Lebanon. This regime sought to destroy human values, ignite sectarian strife, bolster Iranian influence through its favored child, “Hezbollah,” and fund Sunni groups at the expense of other Sunni groups. The final chapter of its crimes was the assassination of the Sunni leadership in Lebanon, embodied by the martyr President Rafic Hariri.
The Syrian Future Movement…

  1. Shares the grief and sorrow of all honorable Lebanese, particularly the cadres of the Lebanese Future Movement.
  2. Stands with you in the pursuit of uncovering the truth, holding the killers accountable, and ensuring justice is served.
  3. Recognizes that the murderer of our people in Syria today is the same one who assassinated the martyr President Rafic Hariri yesterday.
  4. Explicitly clarifies that we (the Syrian Future Movement) have no material, organizational, or cooperative ties at any level with (the Lebanese Future Movement) but maintain a relationship of love and respect.

Mercy for the martyrs of Syria and Lebanon, and fair retribution for the shared perpetrator.
